ROLE – Analytical Lab Technician
LOCATION – Cupertino, CA (Onsite)
MAIN SKILLS – Experience with batteries and battery materials, Experience with basic metrology instrumentation such as analytical balances, 2 years working in a Lab environment, experience with executing complex, detailed test procedures.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years working in a laboratory environment.
- Ability to execute complex, detailed test procedures with minimal input from engineers.
- Excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills with great attention to details.
- Experience with basic metrology instrumentation such as analytical balances.
- Familiarity with proper laboratory safety and housekeeping practices.
- Able to follow proper safety protocols.
- Experience using Mac OS X and Windows OS.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with operating various analyses equipment such as SEM, ion milling, TGA.
- Science/engineering educational background.
- Experience with batteries and battery materials
- Experience in recording detailed and accurate test descriptions and data summaries.
- Experienced in sample preparation in fume/flow hoods, and preferably also in glove boxes.
- Able to effectively contribute to a dynamic and often fast-paced, high-pressure work environment.
