Summary

Analogix Semiconductor Inc. is looking to fill a US Financial Controller. The candidate must have solid communication, technology, analytical and management skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own the worldwide financial close process and all associated activity to deliver accurate and timely results reporting to management, shareholders, regulators, and the Board of Directors.
  • Assist CFO with the preparation of management and Board presentations.
  • Manage the accounting daily activities and finance operations and identify and implement improvements to make financial and operational reporting better, faster, and easier.
  • Provide leadership and vision for scaling the Accounting Team and our financial infrastructure to support Analogix.
  • Develop the team’s capabilities across the range of functions: general ledger, tax, treasury, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, audit, and legal.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of corporate accounting principles and procedures consistent with IFRS and China GAAP.
  • Establish and maintain internal controls and accounting processes policies to efficiently support business.
  • Improve ERP and internal systems to deliver reporting in an accurate, timely and compliant manner.
  • Oversee and manage the cash flow model: determine the weekly cash position and ensure sufficient funds are available to support current and future business initiatives.
  • Manage banking relationships and cash management activities.
  • Perform financial analysis by leveraging and developing financial models in order to provide insightful financial information that supports our internal customer’s ability to make informed business decisions.
  • Provide analytical support and monitor key performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of changes. Conduct deep dives when observing abnormal trends.
  • Work closely with department heads to develop their quarterly and annual plans and budgets.
  • Monitor actual performance against the current budget and business plan.
  • Responsible for approval all vendor spend and contracts on a worldwide basis and hold teams accountable to spend thresholds.
  • Oversee regulatory reporting, including tax planning and compliance across US and its subsidiaries.
  • Oversee preparation of annual federal and state income tax returns and other tax compliance filings and coordinate all tax research/projects.
  • Ensure company is compliant with local, state, and federal business compliance requirements
  • Work with external parties to implement the transfer pricing methodology most suitable for the company’s structure.
  • Partner with Business (Sales, Marketing and Legal) to provide revenue guidance with respect to product offerings.
  • Manage and train team members on contract revenue review and proper documentation needed.
  • Work with external auditors to ensure the accuracy of our revenue is maintained.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
  • 5 – 7 years of related experience
  • Big 4 experience or CPA, a plus
  • Manufacturing or semiconductor industry experience, a plus
  • Early stage and public company experience preferred
  • Experience with NetSuite, a plus
  • Detail-Oriented with a high sense of urgency, exceptional organizational and time management skills, and the ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Strong working knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, and the reporting process.
  • Proven track record of building strong teams and leading others through cross functional projects.
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and great teamwork attitude
  • Comfortable in fast paced environment
