Reporting to an Engineering Manager, this position assists and supports the engineering department.
Builds components and sensor final assemblies.
Obtain quotes, tracks and procures prototype components.
Coordinates and documents lab test activities and performance, including writing test reports.
Performs tear-down analysis, reports lab test failures, and completes corrective action plans.
Provides design input for products based on lab findings.
Assembles concept models, functional models, and other components under the supervision of engineers and technical personnel.
Provides detailed drawings and prints via CAD equipment.
Maintain compliance to current ISO standards and customer specific requirements as applicable.
When mandated, will need to be available to work overtime, be it daily extra hours or weekly with additional days added to the work week.
Individuals directed by management to operate a vehicle for work purposes will observe the requirements of the Fleet Safety Program.

All other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Professional/Technical Experience, Skills and Education:
Bachelor's Degree at a 4-year college/university is being pursued. Required.
Preferably in a degree of Engineering, preferred.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as customer drawings and specifications. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to customer inquiries and other employees of the organization.
Ability to perform advanced mathematical concepts.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variable in situations where only limited standardization exits. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
