WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
The Account Manager will be responsible for supporting the sales team in planning and executing the addressable and digital advertising campaigns of Ampersand's media clients. This individual will work with a designated team to ensure flawless campaign planning and execution as well as provide optimal client service support for assigned Advertisers and Agencies. The Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for client inquires and requests pertaining to their advertising programs. This includes: preparing sales proposals, collecting and presenting research/data information, providing clients with rates, creative deadlines and technical specifications, coordinating measurement/attribution elements and reporting campaign delivery
HOW YOU'LL BE CONTRIBUTING:
Assist Account Directors with preparation of sales proposals, demonstrating a clear understanding of client expectations and KPI's.
Work across functional groups such as MVPD’s, Partners, Research, Data, Pricing and Planning etc. to assist in the creation of client proposals, presentations, and Media Plans.
Verify inventory availability throughout the sales process.
Create media plans that adhere to defined business processes
Communicate ad specifications and creative lead times to Advertisers/Agencies Collect creative from client, verify they are within specifications
Provide sales administrative/account related support
Work closely with Billing/Finance on any invoice discrepancies
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE:
2-3 years advertising related experience
Working knowledge of digital and linear media math
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to deal professionally, courteously, and efficiently in an office setting with employees, clients, and customers.
Ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple projects, & work overtime if necessary.
Work independently and proactively on projects and follow through to completion.
Comfort with ambiguity and a self-starter with an aptitude for defining new processes.
Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills required.
Must possess a passion to drive the business forward.
