Roles and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate between the customer, various teams supporting the program(s), the supply base as well as any third parties required, including certifying authorities, customers and suppliers across time zones. Also, coordinate with the internal technical team.
- Manage program budget within timeframe - program income and expenses. Develop and execute plans to address or mitigate issues that arise related to program budget.
- Manage program schedule and progress through identifying roadblocks impacting timely completion of program and implement steps to address those roadblocks, track efforts on program(s) to ensure tasks remain on time and manage competing priorities.
- Manage program(s) scope - Identify new or changes/creep in scope and notifying AMP management and the customer of these events. Maintain logs of scope events to support commercial discussions.
- Anticipate and manage program(s) risks. Perform trade-offs and identify contingency plan(s) or alternate approaches to mitigate risks and provide strong leadership to team in circumstances where there may be uncertainty or ambiguity.
- Manage transition to production and steady state production for BMS and charging products. Oversee supply chain and general production for product volumes ranging from 10k to 100k per year.
Ideal Candidate:
- 3 years of program management or project management in electronics, software or automotive
- Engineering Degree
- Experience managing new development programs
- Experience with MS Project, Jira, Confluence, requirements management, time tracking, data manipulation in Excel
- Experience with High Voltage and electric vehicle charging technologies
Preferred:
- Experience in the e-mobility industry, preferably with an automotive supplier or OEM
- Start-up experience with multi-tasking ability
- Electrical Engineering degree
- Manufacturing experience with PCBA
