amika is Hiring a Supply Chain Coordinator Near Brooklyn, NY

The Supply Chain Support Coordinator will function primarily in a support role to Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Production Control and Quality Control within the Operations Department.

In addition to extensive collaboration within the Operations department there will be interaction with Finance/Accounting, Sales Operations, Purchasing, Product Development and the Warehouse team.

The Supply Chain Support Coordinator will:

  • Create and update part numbers, bills of material and production models based on established conventions
  • Maintain the Material Data Record for location assignments, planning method and availability confirmation settings
  • Enter and track stock transfers
  • Be responsible for documenting, tracking and receiving inbound shipments from vendors and intracompany transfers
  • Create virtual transfers of components from manufacturer warehouses for incoming goods on Production Orders

Qualifications:

  • Understanding of Supply Chain including basic warehouse, third-party logistics (3PL) and third-party manufacturing (TPM)
  • Basic understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms. Knowledge of SAP ByDesign is a plus
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a Supply Chain environment
