Amida Technology Solutions is Hiring a Talent Acquisition Manager Near Washington, DC

Amida Technology Solutions develops customized data management solutions for federal and commercial clients. Amida is searching for a Talent Acquisition Manager to provide full life cycle recruiting, from talent sourcing to hiring/onboarding.

What You Will Do

You will be responsible for the full cycle recruiting experience, from talent sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing and hiring great employees. You will collaborate with hiring managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, developing and staffing the Talent Acquisition department. The Talent Acquisition Manager must be a team player and able to work independently. You will play a key role in networking, sourcing and building talent pipelines, while promoting and communicating Amida's values and culture to attract key talent.

  • Lead full life cycle recruiting activities, including strategy, sourcing, marketing of the role, phone screens, interviews, offers and negotiations.
  • Partner and collaborate with hiring managers and business leaders to fully understand their hiring needs and strategic objectives and goals.
  • Conduct recruitment strategy kick-off meetings, interview team prep and debrief sessions, and provide recruitment updates.
  • Develop robust sourcing and recruitment marketing strategies and launch campaigns to attract diverse talent.
  • Proactively build talent pipelines through networking, employee referrals, sourcing, events, and other channels.
  • Support diversity, equity and inclusion efforts and take action to improve Amida's outreach in the community and with universities; work to identify passive candidates.
  • Build relationships and ensure consistency, excellence in service and a positive experience throughout the recruitment process for hiring managers and candidates.
  • Serve as a consultant to hiring managers on utilizing relevant data and information in making hiring decisions; provide guidance, direction and training on behavioral interviewing, recruitment process and systems.
  • Schedule and coordinate phone screens, interviews and related logistics.
  • Proactively review and refine Amida's recruiting processes on an ongoing basis to ensure efficiency in time-to-hire/time-to-fill and improve candidate experience.
  • Perform salary analysis and negotiate salary offers with applicants
  • Partner with HR Director to enhance and deliver on the pre-boarding process and experience for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition/hand-off for onboarding.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree and 5 years experience in Talent Acquisition/Recruiting. Additional experience, training, certification and education may be used in lieu of degree.
  • Success in applying advanced recruiting fundamentals to include sourcing, screening, interviewing, negotiating, and onboarding.
  • Proven track record of working in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Stays current and proactive in identifying latest best practices and developments in talent acquisition, including appropriate technology and social media tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit talent, think analytically and develop creative solutions, especially for difficult candidate searches.
  • Develop and maintain a trusted relationship with senior leadership and hiring managers at all levels, guiding them through the recruiting process and providing insights to select the best candidates
  • Support candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive hiring experience.
  • Build relationships with community-based organizations (ex. local universities, local professional associations) to establish the company's presence in the local job market.
  • Build and manage relationships with staffing vendors and agencies.
  • Implement best practices to increase the quality of hires while reducing time to fill.
  • Prepare requisition reporting and other related business reports and metrics.
  • Advise hiring managers on proper interviewing techniques.
  • Performs all tasks and job functions in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Advanced understanding of OFCCP regulations and FLSA compliance.
  • Ability to use standard office automation software
  • Ability to make independent decisions, exercise sound judgement and solve problems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time and project management skills
  • Strong organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Payroll Network (PNI)/iHire.
  • Experience in researching and implementing ATS.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing TA Training for managers.
