- The Instructional Designer (Contract) role supports the design and content development of employee and people leader development training for internal employees, including but not limited to web-based learning, instructor-led training, blended instruction solutions, and virtual sessions.
- This role supports the strategic HR goals in the Global Talent Management (GTM) team at our clients.
- This role leverages current and future technology to enhance access to program content for employees, while keeping the team’s visual design elements innovative and user-centric.

- Instructional Design
- Develop quick reference guides, interactive PDF documents, and other training documentation
- Use of eLearning authoring tools to development learning
- Produce facilitator guides / scripts for instructor-led and virtual classroom trainings
- Edit presentation slide decks from facilitators to streamline design for workshop series sessions
- Design online intranet websites using basic GUI interfaces
- Deliver final-print and/or video projects (ex: .doc, .pdf, .mp4, .wmv)
- Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify and capture learning content
- Design within current company style guide and standards
- Monitor & contribute to internal online employee social communities
- Maintain online training content and document libraries in company LMS systems
- Administer virtual classroom trainings, acting in the Producer role
- Perform administrative functions necessary to schedule, deliver, and document training programs, communities, and tools
- Maintain training records within the learning management system (LMS), participate in LMS platform upgrades and customizations, and provide technical support across LMS and learning technologies
- Bachelor’s Degree plus 3-5 years of related experience (instructional design, curriculum development, visual communication, graphic design, learning & development, organizational / talent development, human-centered design, or education-focused roles)
- Work location flexible within the United States (our clients campus, remote-based, or a combination)
- Available periodic evenings and some weekend hours with prior notice for program support
- Willingness to travel to company functions and off-site trainings events; Travel ?10%
- Proven competency in visual / graphics design [Portfolio requested]
- Ability to self-manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high quality results with a focus on detailed execution
- Ability to work both in a team focused on common goals, as well as self-directed to complete individual deliverables by project deadlines
- Interest in and ability to interact with a globally distributed, multi-cultural and multi-generational team
- Design software: Adobe Creative Cloud suite, including InDesign, Acrobat Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- eLearning software: Articulate Storyline 360, Articulate Rise, Camtasia
- Virtual Classroom platforms: Adobe Connect, Zoom
- Basic content development tools: MS Office, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Basic HTML and SharePoint skills
- Experience working in cloud content management service (ex: Box)
- Administrative experience with LMS systems (ex: Skillsoft Percipio, SuccessFactors/Plateau)
