Global Marketing Director, Oncology, Mature Products and Cross-Portfolio Initiatives (US Remote)

The Global Marketing Director, XGEVA, Mature Products (Neulasta, IMLYGIC) and Cross-Portfolio Initiatives is a critical role in the Oncology Global Marketing Organization and has a meaningful impact in providing commercial leadership, critical thinking and a One team voice. Success in this role will result in substantial professional growth and advancement at Amgen.
The Global Marketing Director is responsible for maximizing the value of the assets, develop lifecycle management strategies to enhance customer experience and competitive position. It will also be involve working closely with Product Team and Integrated Brand Team to incorporate market insights and share best practices.
This role will report to the Executive Director Global Marketing, Growth/Mature Brands and presents a breadth of challenging and exciting responsibilities, as set forth below!
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead integrated, cross-functional launch planning of XGEVA High Concentration Pre-Filled Syringe and partner with reference market to develop messaging and update tools for rest-of-world localization
- Lead the Integrated Brand Team, including milestone planning, input collection, best practices sharing and strategic coordination across markets and functions applying a ONE Amgen approach and course correct on key gaps
- Ensure all marketing deliverables are on time, and of high quality in alignment with Amgens processes and requirements. These may include brand plans, competitive assessments, target product profiles, forecasts, messaging white paper, opportunity assessment and governance presentations
- Drive cross-oncology portfolio coordination, including Interchange Summit, budget, IBT consistency, Global-to-Local model and other activities that touch across brands, and manage oncology calendar across portfolio

Basic Qualifications:Doctorate degree and 4 years of marketing experience
Or
Masters degree and 6 years of marketing experience
Or
Bachelors degree and 8 years of marketing experience
Preferred Qualifications:- A strong commercial leader with excellent marketing capabilities, superior cross-functional collaboration skills, and highly effective influencing skills
- Prior experience developing global marketing strategies for pipeline products, successfully launching therapeutic products and excelling at local market-facing discussions
- Prior experience in a tactical, in-line marketing role, implementing marketing strategies in local markets
- An ability to manage multiple demands and priorities on time, lead teams, problem solve, gain alignment and drive decision-making is required
- Has worked in diverse commercial roles supporting different products in various stages of the lifecycle, with a diverse set of customers in challenging and competitive markets
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrix environment, managing projects involving multiple functions and shared accountabilities
- Strong experience in oncology therapeutic areas. Keen understanding of the science, market trends, and future opportunities and hurdles

The annual base salary range for this opportunity in the U.S. is $194,067 - $233,110.
