AMG Healthcare Services is currently seeking several Psychiatrists with 1 year(s) of previous work experience as a Psychiatrist (exp in psychotherapy & counseling, psychoanalysis, & behavior assessment/modification) for a Part-Time Contract Assignment at a Gov owned Correctional Center located in North Chillicothe, OH.

Pay starts at $180.00 /hr for this part-time position. Schedule is set for 20-32 hrs per week (8-hrs shifts: Mon - Fri only, no weekends) We offer several bonus incentive opportunities (ask your recruiter for details), weekly direct deposit, and an easy application process. This is a 4-month contract position, with the opportunity to extend for an additional 4-months if desired.

• Description/Responsibilities:
  • Psychiatrist provides psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis & treatment for patients, works under the supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director, and provides clinical leadership for a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients with psychiatric disorders or other mental health issues.
  • Evaluates, examines, analyzes, diagnoses & treats consumers, prescribes medication & performs in -depth psychotherapy & counseling (e.g., psychoanalysis, behavior modification).
  • Monitors & coordinates professional & paraprofessional medical, nursing & direct care staff in areas related to psychiatric care
  • Knowledge of medicine; psychology; sociology; anatomy; physiology. Skill in administering medication
