About AmeriVet Veterinary Partners Management

AmeriVet is a leading veterinary group of 165 practices in 34 states. With the rapid growth we are experiencing, we are looking for a driven and detail-oriented individual eager to learn and grow with our company. This individual will work directly with our new hospitals and ensure inventory accuracy by their deadlines. The Inventory Coordinator will be in our Corporate Home Office in San Antonio, Texas, and report to the Inventory Control Manager. Requirements

  • Review and provide feedback on discrepancies identified on our new hospital’s inventory reports during the Integrations stage.
    • Set clear expectations of deadlines and follow up regularly
    • Ensure all tasks are complete and inventory is ready by our closing deadline
    • Provide remote assistance for hospitals that require additional help
    • Travel may be necessary for additional hands-on support
  • Complete PIMS inventory setup analysis
    • Create a Hospital Success Plan to help practices better their PIMS inventory management
    • Provide inventory setup training
  • Oversee our company’s quarterly inventory counts
    • Review inventory reports for discrepancies
    • Set clear guidelines and expectations for our hospitals
    • Track progress and provide updates to the Manager and Executive team
  • Create a strategic plan for a company-wide initiative for cycle counting
  • Meet with and keep open communications with the Manager regularly
  • Complete inventory training for all relevant PIMS
  • Perform additional work-related tasks as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

  • Computer literacy with experience in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word, preferred
  • Veterinary Practice Information Management Software experience is preferred. (eVet/Pulse, Avimark, Impromed, Cornerstone, Etc.)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • High level of integrity and dependability
  • Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
  • Ability to adapt to change
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills
  • Strong Vet Medicine and Pharmacology knowledge required
