Job Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Partner (TAP) is responsible for the development of recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies as well as developing new innovative recruitment approaches to support Amerilab Technologies. We are looking for a TAP that can excel in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated experience in sourcing, screening, qualifying, interviewing and candidate relationship management through onboarding. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that the best possible talent will be hired through a partnership with the business leaders.
The TAP will partner with business in developing internship and apprenticeship programs. Create relationships with identified schools, colleges and sources for these programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Execute hiring strategy of the organization to ensure our teams consist of a diverse set of qualified individuals
  • Ensure a positive experience for candidates, hiring teams, and other internal customers
  • Build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders and business leaders to understand hiring forecasts and recruiting priorities and to fill critical hiring needs in a timely manner.
  • Coach managers/interview teams to incorporate capability and competency-based assessments during their interview.
  • Build and leverage external relationships with technical/diversity/professional associations, to help shape sourcing strategy and develop future talent pipelines.
  • Proactively research new recruitment methodologies, competitive intelligence to create innovative sourcing strategies. Conduct external benchmarking to understand competitive recruiting landscape and influence best practices with team and stakeholders.
  • Develop talent pipelines by creating internship and apprenticeship programs.
  • Utilize social media, employment brand, and personal expertise to successfully target passive applicants through online channels, such as LinkedIn and other professional networks
  • Maintain relationships with professional networks, educational institutions, and local market talent community groups etc.
  • Participate in and/or lead diversity recruiting strategies to attract a diverse workforce by hiring talented people of varied backgrounds, experiences and styles.
  • Maintain and distribute relevant recruitment reports and metrics
  • Provide hands on support interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments, in-person interviews, and reference checks
  • Coordinate with external recruiter agencies
  • Update, maintain, and ensure data integrity in ATS and HRIS systems as needed
  • Support other HR initiatives as needed

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Safety Protocol
    • Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures.
    • Correct or report any observed safety hazards.
    • Support safety policies and programs.

Qualifications:

Education / Experience / Certificates:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
  • Two to fives years talent acquisition experience required.
  • Certification obtained from the HR Certification Institute a plus
  • Small company (<500) experience a plus
  • Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

Skills Required:

  • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while meeting established deadlines
  • Strong problem solving, reasoning, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally and maintain strict confidentiality
  • Familiarity with social media, resume databases, and professional network utilization to proactively source talent
  • Experience managing end to end full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems and HRIS
  • Ability to work independently and within a highly collaborative team environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proactive approach to internal customer service and candidate experience
  • Able to function positively in a fast-paced environment
