Summary:

Responsible for daily/weekly supply chain planning and scheduling. Scope includes sales orders planning, production scheduling and supply planning. Works closely with client services/sales, production supervisors and buyers to ensure on-time delivery to our customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Creation of Daily and Weekly Production Schedules for a 3-month horizon.
• Responsible for on-time delivery to our customers.
• Works with Supply Chain Planning Manager to maintain alignment to our long-term plan.
• Ensure sales orders, production orders, work orders, stock transfers and purchase orders are reflected correctly in the ERP.
• Works closely with production supervision and plant personnel to ensure product is produced and packaged to the approved Product Specifications.
• Ensures work order accuracy in ERP system.
• Maintains BOMs and product attributes in ERP system.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred.
• 2 Years’ experience working in ERP Applications (MPS / MRP)
• 2 years’ experience Planning and Scheduling Production
• 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Experience supply chain planning in ERP systems.
• Extensive knowledge of the MS Office suite.
• High attention to detail and accuracy related to work order entry.
• Experience with Inventory Control, QC, R&D and/or Purchasing helpful.
• Ability to communicate clear, concise and professionally with customers and staff at all levels; both verbally and in written format.
• High level of organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and projects to meet a common goal, with limited direction.
• Ability to multitask and assess, accept/make changes quickly to meet timelines.
• Maintain extreme confidentiality and discretion when dealing with sensitive information.
