Summary:

Directs shipping and receiving activities for organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handles all incoming receipts (checking in, paperwork, system entry, labeling, warehouse to warehouse movements)
• Handles all outgoing contract shipments (trucks, paperwork, ERP System, any labeling)
• Handles all outgoing branded shipments (trucks, paperwork, ERP System, any labeling)
• Ensure the safety of all personnel, equipment and property
• Creates a clean and safe work environment
• Handles and investigates any issues with receipts and shipments
• Provides training as needed (new hires, safety, etc.)
• Handles issues with any outbound/inbound shipments
• Coordinates with purchasing on incoming full trucks schedule
• Coordinates with purchasing on ordering or packing materials (pallets, bubble wrap, etc.)
• Provides coverage when necessary for shipping, receiving & warehouse
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
• Arrange international shipments (LTL, UPS and FedEx)
• Schedule and organize incoming trucks
• Keep track of outbound/inbound shipments
• Communicate to customers after every outbound delivery

Education and Experience:

• 5 years related training experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Forklift Certified – Stand up/Sit down, all other warehouse equipment as needed
• Problem solving – inventory discrepancies
• Oral and written communication - present data in both forms
• Computer skills – ERP System

The employee may be required to lift up to 60 pounds and move up to 100 pounds on occasion. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

The employee may be required to work with hazardous materials. The employee may be exposed to hot surfaces, hot air, and electrical hazards. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works with moving machinery.
Shift Schedule:Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
