This role is open to candidates within a commutable distance of our Irvine, CA office. This role is non-exempt hourly and pays $17.00 - $19.00 an hour, dependent on experience. This role is open to candidates who do not require visa sponsorship.

The Client Services Representative’s primary responsibility is to dial, answer, screen, and transfer calls in a professional and timely manner. The call center representative is also responsible for receiving inbound calls, making outbound calls, handling escalated issues, updating information in our CRM and delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Take inbound calls in a timely manner
  • Make outbound calls to update our clients
  • Answer client emails / chats through our internal database
  • Follow call center scripts when handling different topics
  • Redirect clients to appropriate departments and teams when appropriate
  • Identify customer needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions
  • Keep records of all conversations in our call center database CRM in a comprehensive way
  • Assist client advocates with client enrollment processes
  • Follow all communication procedures, policies, and guidelines during every customer interactions
  • Update client information through the progression of their enrollment (email, chat, or by phone)
  • Assist clients with modifications to their program (Drafts, Billing, Retention, etc.)
  • Assist with our client internal retention processes
  • Maintain professional relationships with customers through ongoing excellent customer service
  • Meet or exceed call quotas both personally and as a team

Requirements:

  • 0-1 years experience in customer service and/or call center environment
  • Experience in financial services a plus
  • Excellent communication skills: verbal and written
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Thorough knowledge of call center policies and procedures
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office & Google Suite

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
