Producer Compensation Analyst 

Job Summary:

Americo is currently hiring for a Producer Compensation Analyst. The purpose of this job is to calculate manual commissions, field questions, and complete research regarding payments, statements, policies, and debit balances. Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot system errors. To provide support in 1099 processing, collection calls, and other departmental objectives. To process work within established service standards and provide exemplary customer service to internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle detailed research questions and inquiries from customers both internal and external
• Support our Agent Services Department with agent questions regarding their commissions
• Handle collection calls from agents and Independent Marketing Organizations
• Complete detailed calculations and adjustments to agent’s accounts
• General accounting functions, cutting manual checks, and processing manual payments

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• General knowledge of accounting principles
• General knowledge of Life/Annuity concepts
• Knowledge of commission calculations or the ability to learn
• Good communication skills
• General knowledge of MS Excel, MS Access, or other reporting tools
• Strong work ethic with a focus on quality
• Good analytical skills –mathematical and reasoning
• Strong organizational skills
