American Veterinary Group is Hiring a Kennel Technician Near Montgomery, TX

Animal Hospital of Montgomery has been helping to keep pets healthy for multiple years. Dr. Joey Romero started Animal Hospital of Montgomery in a 1,500 sq. ft. office in a strip center. A couple of years later, our office was moved to a new state of the art, free standing 8,100 sq. ft. facility that features a large reception area, multiple treatment rooms with treatment tables and a surgery suite. Some other services we provide to small animals are soft tissue surgery, orthopedic surgery, dentistry, radiology, ultrasound, CT scanning and much more! At Animal Hospital of Montgomery, our goal is to provide the highest quality veterinary care to our patients while offering the best customer service available to our clients. In doing so, we will always address the concerns of our clients about their pet in an honest and respectful manner. 

We are seeking a Full-Time Kennel Technician to help provide outstanding patient care and client service in a fast-paced, multi-doctor animal hospital.

The Kennel Tech is responsible for maintaining back of hospital duties. These tasks include: caring for boarding animals, maintaining appropriate feeding schedules/providing prescribed medication to pets, maintaining the kennel area (cleaning and mopping), bathing animals and upholding the highest level of care for all pets. Additional duties may include general cleaning of the hospital and communicating directly with clients.

Applicants must demonstrate professionalism, dependability, healthy and positive communication skills, and the ability to multi-task. Our next team member will be an energetic people-and-pet person with excellent work ethic and social and organizational skills. Must be willing and able to work flexible hours and weekends.
