Here is a job description we will ask you to accept:
Establish a security presence. Monitor foot and vehicle traffic in and out of the facility. Be able to read and agree to follow our post instructions and those instructions of the client. Ensure that all employees and visitors have proper credentials for accessing the property. Announce deliveries, visitors, and contractors. Greet employees and visitors as they arrive and assist with any concerns they might have. Complete reports and other required documentation in a timely manner. Write reports for all security incidents. At all time maintain a levelheaded and professional frame of mine as stressful situations arise. Monitor alarms and security cameras, answer phones, provide information, directions and general guidance to those requesting assistance. Complete walking patrols of the property, being watchful for suspicious persons and/or activities, while inspecting buildings, equipment and access points. Serve as a deterrent to persons who have intent to committing criminal acts. Ensure that all deliveries are in the correct place and meet time restrictions.
We are seeking those individuals interested in FULL time work with the understanding that part time work may be available.
Candidates must meet the following:
Be able to pass drug test on the day you interview
Be able to pass a background check to the federal level.
Be free of any criminal convictions, that may prevent you from obtaining a Private Security License from the State of Texas. (Our company will assist you in this process)
Understand and accept the fact that our restrictions, policies and procedures are in place for a reason and must be followed to the letter.
Have access to a reliable vehicle, 24/7, without restriction.
Be able to read and write the English language and have above average penmanship. The ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
Have reached the age of at least 25.
Must be alert, comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods of time in all types weather.
Have proficient oral communication skills plus a working knowledge of Microsoft office, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
All security officers are required to wear the provided uniform. Keep clean and neat appearance with good personal hygiene.
Profanity, Racial Ethnic Slurs and/ or Jokes, and sexual harassment are strictly prohibited.
