American Products is Hiring an Office Manager Near Tampa, FL

OFFICE MANAGER GENERAL OVERVIEW
Our Office Manager will be responsible for all office management of a busy small to mid-sized manufacturing and construction company. The Office Manager will be actively involved in daily general tasks and customer service as well as general oversite of office procedures and employee training. Most importantly, our Office Manager will participate hands on in the day-to-day activities of all office and operations activities to ensure projects are completed as required and the office runs smoothly day to day.

We are located at 13909 Lynmar Blvd. Tampa, Fl 33626 in West Tampa / Oldsmar, Fl (which is a convenient drive from Clearwater, St Pete, Palm Harbor, Tarpon Springs, Spring Hill, Tampa, etc.) You can visit us at www.americanproducts.com.

OFFICE MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with and coordinate with various departments daily to ensure work is completed timely
  • Work directly with customers on a daily basis as well as internal staff on a wide variety of projects, as needed
  • Assist with answering the phones and assisting customers
  • Regularly create new / update existing Training Manuals, SOPS, Quality Checklists, etc.
  • Perform training on all office protocols, procedures and other required areas
  • Maintain detailed progress / completion status of projects assigned throughout the office
  • Ensure efficiency throughout all departments
  • Manage and also actively participate in all talent acquisition and recruitment strategies
  • Participates in HR as needed, including completing payroll as needed
  • Support various departments of the company, including but not limited to accounting, project coordination, sales and marketing etc.
  • Manage facility upkeep, order suppliers, etc.
  • So much more!

OFFICE MANAGER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Advanced computer skills are an absolute must!
  • Superior customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Must have very strong attention to detail and above average organizational skills
  • Superior organization, multi-tasking, and phone skills
  • Ability to create documents, forms, etc. a must
  • Ability to work in a flexible, dynamic and fast-paced environment with ability to multi-task
  • Proven track record in dealing with various personalities, working styles and departments while successfully managing a very busy, customer-focused office
  • Architecture, Construction, Manufacturing exp. an absolute plus but not required
  • Prior experience working as a Office Manager, Operations Manager, General Manager, Accounting Manager, Human Resources or Payroll Manager a plus but not required
  • Experience working with a small to mid-sized business where you wear many hats a plus
  • Experience with Sage 100, Goldmine, Access, Quotewerks, Advanced Excel, ADP payroll software a plus but not required
  • Will lead efforts for procedure/work instruction documentation via writing new SOPS /updating existing SOPs to ensure continued improvement in operation efficiencies and successful growth
