We are a fast growing premium dog treat manufacturer in Ontario Ca, and we are currently hiring a warehouse manager to join our team! The Warehouse manager is responsible for ensuring safety, work practices and procedures are followed. The Warehouse manager will also manage and oversee the receiving, shipping, handling and sorting activities within the warehouse. Must be bilingual in Mandarin/ English and previous experience with food manufacturing.

What you'll do

• Assists in the maintenance of all warehouse and transportation equipment for departmental use.
• Assists in the control of all inventories, insuring product rotation and minimization of spoils.
• Assists in the control of cost for budget and operational procedures.
• Controls all daily shipping assignments with assistance from assigned employees.
• Ensures that all procedures are followed to maintain product safety for all customers, both Foodservice and Retail.
• Maintains records for all transactions: all customer requirements and Company Policies and procedures.
• Assists the Production Manager in maintaining the correct records for product recall and local distribution.
• Performs and/or supervises the initial and ongoing training of warehouse employees.
• Utilizes both PC and warehouse systems for generating reports and controlling inventories.
• Conducts Safety training and periodic employee meetings. Complying with applicable federal and state laws and regulations concerning employee safety.
• Verifies time cards and approves overtime when necessary.
• Implements suggestions, disciplinary, and problem review procedures.
• Ensures accuracy of all raw input and finished good inventory.

What we're looking for

• Must have previous experience in food manufacturing industry
• Must have experience implementing an ERP or WMS system
• Forklift Driver's License preferred
• Ability to work various shifts
• Bilingual preferred (English/Mandarin)
• Proven experience as a warehouse manager

Pay: From $67,744.00 per year
