Job Description
Job Overview: The ideal candidate must have experience in garage door installation, be capable of measuring and recording door opening sizes accurately, possess knowledge of various garage door types, brands, and styles, and have excellent interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Install garage doors, openers, springs, and cables.
- Troubleshoot garage door systems.
- Program opener remotes.
- Inspect and measure door openings for new installations.
- Engage with customers.
- Assist with heavy lifting when necessary.
- Travel up to 30 minutes one-way (extra travel is paid)
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a garage door technician or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of garage door installation techniques.
- Proficiency in garage door system troubleshooting.
- Highly motivated.
- Capable of heavy lifting.
- Carpentry skills are a plus.
- Welding skills a plus
