Overview:
General Purpose:
The Manager of FP&A is responsible for leading the financial analysis and planning function for the organization, providing business insight that will influence and drive decisions through complex financial analysis. The role is highly cross-functional and requires close, daily interactions with diverse functions to ensure consistency, integrity, and collaborative development of supported analysis for the organization.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning & Analysis
    • Drive FP&A function process improvement and implement solutions using technology that will result in more efficient collection, analysis, and reporting of information creating more capacity for analysis and enhanced decision support.
    • Understands and seeks out industry financial drivers, market information, and perform specific research that impact real time decisions and supports long term strategy.
    • Lead analysis and support through advanced theory, knowledge, experience, and system enhancement. Includes developing corporate KPI’s and scorecards to review performance against these key metrics; and elevating the organization’s aptitude and skillset on analytic fundamentals, profit management, and pricing analytics.
  • Process Improvements
    • Provide support to leadership, business units and shared service teams regarding business culture, communication, reorganization, and process improvement opportunities
    • Develops and monitors standard business processes to ensure consistency and efficiency across appropriate groups, such as teams, departments, and staff. Identifies issues and recommends applicable process improvements.
  • M&A, Joint Venture, Alliances, Divesture Support, Strategy
    • Create ad-hoc analysis to drive business strategy, improve efficiency, and maximize ROI
    • Collaborate across the company to help assess and prioritize M&A transactions to best align with corporate strategy and growth objectives
    • Participate in the development of transaction strategy through valuation analysis and support
    • Assess decisions using strong financial acumen, modeling and use of data, industry knowledge, and other qualitative assessments
    • Provide support to business units in post-acquisition integration, ongoing strategy assessment, development, and execution
    • Support the preparation and delivery of presentations to executive management and shareholders

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • BA/BS from a 4-year accredited school in analytics, accounting, finance, or business.
  • 10 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with pricing and margin decision support.
  • Experience with valuation modeling in support of acquisitions, joint ventures, divestures, and contract negotiations.
  • Experience with using, developing, and leveraging software technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA or other relevant graduate education.
  • Above average ERP (Infor M3 preferred) and Excel experience, including strong modeling required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong quantitative and analytic skills and abilities including advanced knowledge of financial and valuation theory. Advanced modeling skills, with ability to work with others in complex tasks and review work products.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities given aggressive timelines; comfortable performing in a fast paced, dynamic environment, managing both internal and external resources
  • Broad financial acumen including a strong foundation in accounting and corporate finance principles (comprehensive understanding of valuation methodologies)
  • Ability to support internal and external growth strategies, including analyzing new markets and competitors and analyzing internal strengths and weaknesses
  • Ability to lead cross functional teams in projects such as process re-engineering, organization design, and business performance improvement
  • Moderate to extensive analytical and problem-solving ability required.
