American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) offers powerful backing and financial support to businesses of all sizes. The GCS Customer Growth Marketing team strives to provide our customers with the world’s best customer experience every day to ensure that we are essential partners to our clients.

The Card Product Growth Marketing team's mission is to expand relationships with customers by serving the right marketing treatment to the right customer at the right time. In particular, this role will focus on customer marketing to upgrade a Card Member’s card experience. It offers exposure to core American Express product portfolios as well as exposure to product management, acquisition marketing, data analytics, and creative development.

This Analyst will be responsible for helping drive the cross channel strategy across our major acquisition channels (e.g., email, digital, direct mail, inbound phone) for Upgrade treatments and own the marketing execution of the program across email and direct mail channels. In addition to creative development and execution, this person will manage analytics and reporting scorecards and use data to influence the program strategy. They will also partner cross functionally across various teams including Channel Marketers, Product Marketers, Product Management, Risk, Analytics and Finance.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to develop core marketing skills and ensure that Small Business Card Members receive relevant, compelling, and compliant marketing communications.

Ideal candidate will have strong project management and organization skills with attention to detail, and a proactive and collaborative approach.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end campaign execution (set-up, approval, implementation) in email and direct mail channels
  • Manage development of creative assets with agency contacts
  • Manage marketing calendar including scheduling and planning for campaigns throughout the year
  • Partner with multiple internal teams for campaign set-up and approval
  • Monitor, analyze and report out campaign results
  • Budget management

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to analyze and leverage data
  • Strong collaborator and flexible team player, with the ability to build and leverage relationships
  • Strong project management, organization and prioritization skills
  • Attention to detail with focus on driving results
  • Desire to work hard and have fun at the same time
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Bachelor’s Degree Required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 years relevant marketing experience, preferred

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually bonus benefits
