Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the Surgeon during a variety of oral surgery procedures
• Managing infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following all dental treatment procedures
• Educate patients on appropriate pre and post op instructions to maintain oral health

A great Oral Surgery Assistant will make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients as they go thru what often times can feel like a stressful and fearful procedure. We understand that maintaining a warm and compassionate demeanor can make or break a patient’s entire experience. Therefore , your chairside personality is crucial to the success of the team.

Qualifications:

• Work Experience: Oral Surgery preferred but will train someone with dental assisting experience if needed
• Knowledge of dental terminology and dental science
• Knowledge of ethical and legal standards for the delivery of dental care
• Radiology- X-ray certification required
• Knowledge of Dentrix (a plus but not a must)
• Team Player, Team Spirit, Team Oriented
• Travel reimbursement if/when applicable

Schedule: Our Surgical Team currently serves 4 locations weekly. Mondays in Hamburg, Tuesday in Kenhorst, Wednesdays and Fridays in Trappe and Thursday's at our East Norriton practice. Do not want to work all those days/ locations? No problem, we are flexible and will work with you on location preferences.
