American Arbitration Association is Hiring a Marketing Communications Manager Near New York, NY

Overview

Located in our New York City Headquarters and reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, the Marketing Communications Manager will be an integral member of the team assisting in developing, executing, and monitoring marketing and communications campaigns; measuring and reporting on success against established objectives.

The successful applicant will work on a hybrid basis (approximately 50% on-site).The starting annual equivalent salary for this position is $81,785.86, and a 10% incentive opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Uses independent judgement to recommend and develop strategic communications campaigns that advance organizational goals, as well as business objectives for respective Divisions.
  • Defines and recommends key performance indicators for communications channels that indicate a campaign's level of success.

  • Oversees the creation of marketing and communication collaterals, including white papers, website copy, social media, that align with and support the AAA-ICDR brand.
  • Uses discretion to manage social media content and campaign calendar; continuously strives to elevate the quality of content; identifies and recommends strategies to optimize programs for greater success; assists in developing and editing content series/programs that drive engagement and are repeatable.
  • Writes and circulates internal monthly newsletter for stakeholders.
  • Coordinates tradeshow and conference messaging, logistics, lead generation, and pre and post event communications; attends tradeshows and conferences to assist AAA staff; coordinates with vendors and conference personnel regarding the set-up of booths and materials.
  • Ensures confidentiality; adheres to the AAA’s information security and data privacy policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Work with VP to maintain effective internal communications with business units and key personnel to ensure they are kept informed on marketing initiatives and objectives.
  • Demonstrates regular, reliable, predictable job attendance.
  • Attends on-site and in-person meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications

Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related discipline; 3 years of work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Experience designing and executing marketing and communications strategies and campaigns; Demonstrated knowledge of current industry trends.

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as legal files, business correspondence and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and business correspondence; ability to speak effectively, both in person and by telephone, to customers, attorneys, arbitrators, mediators and employees of the organization.

Computer Skills: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in particular); knowledge of marketing automation tools (Eloqua, Marketo, Pardot).

Other: Ability to travel regionally and domestically by auto, rail, and air; approximate travel equals 10%.
