Ameresco is seeking a Project Management Intern to assist our Smart Buildings Solutions Controls team in Worthington, Ohio. Summer internship cycle 2023. Responsibilities: Responsible for assisting the Controls team with building automation and controls related projects; Support the Controls team by identifying opportunities, assist in proposal efforts, implementation of projects, building audits and build equipment inventories; Provide service on an ongoing basis; Maintain a safe, clean, and productive work environment on site, in accordance with applicable safety and job site requirements; Physical labor may include working above your head on a ladder and wiring low voltage controls systems; Provide assistance with project management, scheduling, procurement and delivery of material to job sites; Assist in the diagnosis, repair, installation, and setup of hardware and software; and Perform other duties as required. Minimum Qualifications: Working toward an Associates or B.S. in Engineering or related technology field, or working on apprenticeship or journeyman's status in a related trade Additional Qualifications: Strong proficiency in MS Office programs Experience or familiarity with HVAC or building automation systems, including assembly, wiring, installation, programming, or troubleshooting a plus Exposure to working in the building automation and controls field; particularly experience with electrical work, HVAC installation, programming, and building automation systems, project management experience a plus Ability to travel to work sites on a daily basis as required Work schedule may fall outside standard business hours depending on client conditions. Travel may be required.
