Ameresco is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to support our construction team. This position is located in Oak Brook, IL. Responsibilities: Assist the Project Management Team with construction and implementation of energy efficiency, conservation, and renewable technology projects in retail, commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities; Provide accurate and timely project status updates and communication to Project Managers; Attend and participate in weekly construction meetings at various project site locations; Organize and maintain project related files, drawings, materials, and correspondence; Assist with issuing bid packages to vendors and subcontractors for pricing and delivery schedules; Prepare spreadsheets, analyze proposals, and conduct project review meetings; Collaborate with internal functions to prepare and maintain all forms of reports, presentations, documentation, and related project material; Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, and regulatory safety, standards, practices, and codes; Foster positive and effective business relationships with all parties, and Perform other duties as required. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor Degree in Construction Management or related discipline. Additional Qualifications Exposure to large scale construction projects involving upgrades, renovations, and retro-fits involving institutional, government, commercial and industrial customer sites. Proven ability to gather, validate, and analyze quantitative data and information Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Excel and Project. Excellent verbal, written, computer, technical communication and presentation skills required. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and business relationships. Valid Drivers’ License issued by state of residence and in good standing. Ability to pass DOE security investigation and DOT substance testing requirements.
