AMER Rugs’ American Headquarters is based outside of Atlanta in Norcross, GA. To support our continued growth in the retail segment we are looking for a new national sales manager

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the success of all sales and marketing strategies. This candidate will be knowledgeable about the market and our competitive advantages in order to best recommend new sales strategies for success.

Responsibilities and Duties
Responsibilities

  • Foster new business relationships and manage existing relationships
  • Recommend sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses
  • Conduct budget reviews to ensure sales and marketing activities are within budget
  • Attend industry trade events along with networking opportunities and other relevant meetings
  • Develop rep team across the nation for sales growth
  • Lead, manage and direct the sales for Amer existing and potential retail base
  • Build account relationships
  • Forecasting sales by channel of responsibility – clear understanding of forecasts, sales trends
  • Develop budget directives
  • Forecast driven – responsible for meeting or exceeding forecast
  • Participate in the strategic and general leadership and management under the direction of the Executive Team
  • Develop and implement tactical planning for sales
  • Sales Plan
  • Sales Growth
  • Increase customer base
  • Weekly report to be submitted by every Saturday.
  • Be a positive role model for the sales team.
  • Reflect to the industry a positive image of AMER.
  • Maximize AMER’s public & trade exposure.
  • Continue to explore additional sales opportunities for Amer
  • Additional sales channels.
  • Develop sales staffing plans.

Qualifications and Skills
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 5 years' relevant experience
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM'
