Summary:
The primary responsibility for this position is to produce hospital-specific, semi-annual quality benchmarking reports, and to design and conduct clinical research studies supporting the quality-program and grant-based research portfolio of the CQI statistical team. Work involves providing statistical guidance (orally and in writing), evaluating data integrity, constructing statistical models for predictive purposes, and reporting results in different formats appropriate for participating hospitals, program leadership/staff/surgeon consultants, and research investigators.
This Exempt level position will report to the Statistical Manager, Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) in the Division of Research and Optimal Patient Care. The selected candidate will become a member of a mutually-supportive team of ten statisticians who are responsible for providing benchmarking and clinical research support to many College programs and funded projects included NSQIP Adult, NSQIP Pediatric, and MBSAQIP. It is based in our Chicago office and is a hybrid role: 3 days per week in the office/2 days per week remote.
