The AWS AMER Data Center Supply Solutions Team is looking for a highly skilled Business Portfolio Manager who will lead and drive initiatives in reporting, dashboarding, headcount planning, and business reviews, with a focus on advancing technology and tools to support the real estate and colo portfolio. This role will ensure program alignment with company goals and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
Key job responsibilities
Program Development & Management: Develop and manage real estate programs that align with company objectives, overseeing initiatives in reporting, dashboarding, and technology enablement.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of delivering concise updates and reports to various levels of management
Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams, including Finance, Legal, and Technology
Portfolio Reporting: Oversee the reporting for colo and real estate portfolios, ensuring on-time, budget-compliant, and quality-driven results.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams—Real Estate, Legal, Finance, Technology, Property Managers, and external partners—to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery of projects.
Process and Tool Implementation: Establish project management methodologies, implement processes, and build tools to streamline program delivery and ensure efficiency.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track and report on program progress, risks, issues, and key performance metrics (KPIs) to stakeholders at various levels.
Headcount Planning: Manage headcount planning processes, including forecasting, resource allocation, and optimizing team structures.
Business Reviews & Reporting Cadence: Lead the preparation for business reviews, including creating executive-level summaries, status updates, and metrics-driven insights to support informed decision-making.
Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear, concise, and consistent communication of project status across multiple teams and management levels.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices to drive program efficiency and effectiveness.
Training & Development: Develop and deliver training for program management skills and tools, enhancing team capabilities.
Experience in headcount planning, resource allocation, and budgeting
Strong executive presentation skills and experience leading business reviews
Familiarity with real estate or colo-specific management tools, such as Tango, salesforce, and Tririga
Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Agile Scrum Master, or Lean Six Sigma)
Demonstrated success in building scalable processes and tools to support large, complex programs
Ability to adapt and prioritize in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $147,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $254,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
