Doyle Security Services is Hiring a NJ - Operations Manager - Security Near Warren, NJ

Doyle Security Services, Inc. (DSS) a premium regional security provider seeking an Operations Manager in the Somerset NJ area.
Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 plus a bonus plan (Commensurate with experience)
GENERAL PURPOSE:
Provide strategic direction and progressive leadership for the management of an assigned portfolio of business. Guides staff in the effective, efficient, and ethical operation of their security functions. Builds a cohesive team dedicated to continuous improvement of operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
The following is the essential functions of the job and other duties that may also be assigned.   • Analyzes quality, financial, and other performance indicators with the objectives of providing the highest level of service within budgetary constraints.
  • Ensures that corrective action processes are administered so that risks are adequately identified and protection requirements for clients and DSS are met.
  • Ensures correct, consistent administration of clients and DSS service Agreement. Directs the implementation of DSS and clients "best practices" and quality assurance initiatives. Aids on related programs and projects.
  • Maintains a positive, professional work environment free of discrimination and harassment. Ensures that each staff member is treated with dignity and respect. Remains in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and statutes. Participates in prompt and effective resolution of legal, financial, HR and administrative issues.
  • Manages the selection, orientation, training/development, and retention of high caliber staff. Ensures staff understands and complies with clients and DSS policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Coaches and disciplines personnel as appropriate; seeks advice from company management or District Manager on disciplinary course of action(s).
  • Assigns or provides training to Security Officers and other company personnel, reviews post orders and other details of assignments with subordinates.
  • Submits payroll and personnel information to the designated DSS Department.
  • Interfaces with DSS District Manager and clients. Coordinates with others to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Efficiently and effectively manages the deployment and service delivery of Supervisors, Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel in portfolio assigned; acts to ensure that all post orders are followed, and adequate reports are filed; notifies DSS management proper authorities and client in emergency situations.
  • Support the District Manager on expenditures for equipment, supplies, automobile maintenance and other items within DSS budgetary constraints and with a view toward maximizing returns.
  • Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical, and professional manner.
SUPERVISORY DUTIES:
In accordance with applicable DSS policies/procedures and laws, perform the following responsibilities: Interviewing, hiring, orienting, planning, assigning, and directing work. coaching and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Supervises:
  • Security Site, Shift Supervisors, and Security Officers.
  • Other personnel as special projects or work assignments may require.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
The following are the minimum qualifications, which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position.
Knowledge:
  • Prefer a bachelor's degree, will accept equivalent or professional experience on a case-by-case bases.
  • Ten years of progressively responsible experience in security or equivalent field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in a similar security leadership role, scheduling and managing personnel.
  • Proven skills in security operation planning, controlling expenses, and human resources administration, including PC skills (spreadsheet and word-processing).
