Amaryllis Therapy Network is a busy children’s therapy clinic that needs a full-time receptionist to join our administrative team. We are looking for someone who is able to fulfill the duties outlined below while serving as a friendly first contact for the children and families who receive our services.
Job Summary:
Greet and welcome children and parents at check in/check out
Enter/update patient information in the EMR system
Work with the Intake Coordinator and therapists to schedule and organize patient appointments
Handle cash and co-payments accurately and responsibly
Answer phone calls, questions, etc. regarding services/classes/appointments in a prompt and polite manner
Scan, update and file medical records
Assist families with completion of paperwork, when necessary
Maintain the waiting room
Enter data in Excel and Google Docs
Required Knowledge, skills, abilities:
High School diploma or equivalent plus 2-3 years’ work experience in medical/therapy setting
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Happy, welcoming can-do attitude with patients and coworkers
Experience with electronic scheduling software
Strong PC skills and computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, stand and walk for periods of time
Ability to lift and carry 20 pounds
