We are seeking a detail-oriented, outgoing, self-motivated, highly organized, Administrative Assistant/Recruiter who will be responsible to perform a wide variety of duties. The successful applicant will be a career minded professional looking to advance within our agency and must possess a positive attitude.

A private duty home health organization in San Clemente, California providing in-home skilled nursing care and therapy to home bound adults and seniors.
Patients, families, and health care professionals rely on Amada Concierge Care to deliver the best in-home skilled nursing services and therapy. Whether you are in need of nursing services, therapy or end-of-life support, Amada Concierge Care stands ready to exceed expectations.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job

  • Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline.
  • Local travel required to recruit at nursing schools, attend job fairs, partner with schools.
  • Manage job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements.
  • Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices.
  • Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, perform phone screenings and conduct face-to-face interviews.
  • Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations California
  • Perform background and reference checks.
  • Manage onboarding and new hire process.
  • Conduct orientation classes with new hires 1-2 times per week.
  • Coordinate with Schedulers and provide all new hire information and availability.
  • Provide On-Call services after hours and weekends
  • Update daily Recruiting Intake Log
  • Possess excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Coordinate schedules and shifts for skilled nursing department.
  • Work with clients to organize scheduling assignments.
  • Place orders for supplies and services and track progress and results.
  • Maintain confidential and proprietary sensitive information and files.
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities
  • Project scheduling/coordinating
  • Answering phone calls/transferring/fielding questions/calling clients
  • Client and customer service/communication/liaison
  • Maintain client relations
  • Communicating with various departments

Qualifications and Skills

  • Residence in the territory (Orange County)
  • High School Graduate (required)
  • B.S. Degree (preferred, not required)
  • Minimum 2-year experience in an administrative capacity (preferred)
  • Experience in healthcare (preferred)
  • Ability to start immediately or within 2 weeks
  • Must be available minimum 40 hours a week
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, self-motivation, with a strong independent work ethic
  • Proven ability to take direction and work independently to achieve goals.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • High energy level, sense of urgency and results driven
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, Adobe, Quickbooks Online, and Google Products (Preferred)
