About this position

The Alyce Engineering team is looking for an amazing and mighty Senior Frontend Developer to join an established team. This individual will be responsible for designing functionality and solutions for existing and future Alyce products. The ideal candidate is passionate about both our organizational mission and has high standards in development. You’re always looking at how things can be improved and you examine problems from all angles.

How you’ll make Alyce amazing:

• You’ll drive the development of the frontend applications for Alyce
• As a senior member of the Engineering team, you’ll propose and implement solutions, choose and integrate technologies, define frameworks and approaches as the team builds and supports new applications
• Team mentor who can identify areas for improvement in others and provide coaching to level up their team
• Avid learner and teacher within their team, sharing new knowledge with colleagues to level-up their team and product
• Ability to communicate with internal and external team members under both technical and non-technical contexts
• You constantly seek to improve architecture and bring best practices into your work.
• You’re a key contributor in SCRUM meetings where you’ll regularly interact and work cross-functionally with UX designers, Product Manager, Backend Developers, DevOps and QA Engineers

How you will uplevel Alyce:

• You have 5 years of experience building frontend enterprise software applications
• Expertise with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript to create modern complex, web-based applications
• Experience with modern Javascript frameworks
• Knowledge of and experience with ES6, SASS, and Promise 
• Experience with React strongly preferred
• Experience with Redux, Redux-Observable, TypeScript
• Experience with Lerna and package publishing
• Experience in using responsive design
• Experience in interacting with REST APIs
• Experience with source control technologies (e.g. Git)
• Excellent communication skills with at minimum Conversational English level — ability to read, write and communicate on technical topics in English as you’ll be working with a global team and all work is documented in English.
• Proactivity, ability both to work independently and to be a part of a team.
