The Scheduler is an especially important part of our operation. This person makes sure that each client has a great caregiver, and that each caregiver gets the hours they need. We recognize your importance and treat our Scheduler with the utmost respect. Our team-oriented environment focuses on common goals, and we help each other exceed those goals.
This is a full-time position. Regular hours will be Monday-Friday 9a-5p, plus participation in our after-hours on-call rotation for additional compensation (every other weekend and some holidays required).
You will be responsible for:
· Scheduling – Managing the daily flow of client care. You will maintain schedules ahead of time, as well as handle any last-minute issues that may arise.
· Answering the phone – Our Scheduler is popular! 80% of incoming calls are related to scheduling.
· Timely Follow-Up – Check in with clients and caregivers to ensure excellent service and positive customer experiences.
· On-Call – Our agency receives calls after regular business hours. Our Scheduler is part of the paid on-call rotation, which includes every-other weekend (Friday evening through Monday morning).
· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:
· 1 year of Scheduling or Medical Office admin experience. Home Care scheduling experience is a HUGE plus!!
· Customer Service experience – The ability to interact with tact and care with caregivers, clients, and clients’ family members.
· Multi-line phone experience – Handling phone calls professionally and efficiently in a friendly manner is critical to good scheduling and great customer service.
· Good operational knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new software.

· Possess a pleasant demeanor and be able to build and maintain rapport with team members, caregivers, clients, and clients’ families.
· Be organized, efficient, and able to multi-task.
· Work well under occasional stress.
· Be a problem solver who is able to think outside the box.
· Be detail-oriented and focused.
· Demonstrate excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
· Be calm and patient.
