Alutiiq is Hiring a Remote Recruiter Operations

The Alutiiq Operations Recruiter (Ops Recruiter), as a member of the Alutiiq Operations Talent Acquisition (AOTA) team, will be an integral part of the Recruiting Center of Excellence (RCoE), working to fill open vacancies while collaborating with Human Resources Recruiting (HHR) to ensure compliance with all recruiting/hiring practices and procedures. The Ops Recruiter will collaborate with management on a regular basis to proactively fill open vacancies and identify future hiring needs. Additionally, the Ops Recruiter will ensure that Alutiiq and its Subsidiaries attract, hire and retain the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline.

  • Under general direction of the Alutiiq Business Director the Ops Recruiter has discretion to perform his/her regular job assignments.
  • Manages the full life cycle recruiting process.
  • Utilizes the Company’s ATS to track applicants during the selection phase through on-boarding.
  • Ability to efficiently and effectively fill open positions and ensure staffing levels are maintained for assigned projects.
  • Conducts advanced Boolean searches for hard to fill positions, such as highly cleared candidates, unique skill sets, etc.
  • Performs phone pre-screen interviews for Hiring Manager.
  • Schedules and assists Hiring Manager with interviews.
  • Participates in regularly scheduled meetings with Alutiiq Subsidiary Hiring Managers and their Federal Government customers to proactively establish recruiting strategies and discuss overall staffing initiatives.
  • Supports contract staffing requirements from pre-contract award, transition through closeout.
  • Provides Talent Management subject matter expertise to the Strategic Operations team during opportunity development through the proposal process.
  • Builds and maintains networks to find qualified active and passive candidates.
  • Collaborates with the HRR Team, as necessary, on recruiting efforts; and to ensure company policies, practices and procedures are being followed in the performance of job duties.
  • Partners with HRR team in efforts to manage the company’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) outreach program to ensure compliance with federal and /or state regulations.
  • Researches and recommends new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
  • Uses social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates.
  • Uses metrics to create reports and identify areas of improvement.
  • Participate in job fairs as necessary.
  • May be responsible for mentoring less experienced recruiters.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in business, human resources or related field.
  • Level III - Minimum 10 years of Recruiting Experience.
  • Level II - Minimum 5 years of Recruiting Experience.
  • All Levels - Minimum 2 years recruiting experience within the cleared Federal Government contracting environment.
  • A combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Experience:

  • Accomplished in managing the recruiting process from requisition and posting through sourcing, offer acceptance and onboarding.
  • Successful full-life cycle staffing (active and passive) and assessing candidate quality.
  • Ability to research and define sourcing strategies for critical positions or hard to reach candidates.
  • Strong understanding and ability to recruit in all levels of the organization from entry level to corporate staff and across many disciplines to include engineering, IT infrastructure, programing, cyber, security and law enforcement, training, and trades.
  • Technical industry knowledge with the ability to understand needs, then translate requirements into effective job descriptions and sourcing strategies.
  • Active in Social and Digital media, networking, and the recruiting arena.
  • Knowledge of applicable state and federal laws relevant to recruiting and hiring activities.
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations relevant to government contracting environment such as OFCCP, Service Contract Act, etc.
  • Able and open to occasional travel to support customers and visit regional offices
  • US Citizenship required.
