Job Requirements: Responsible for the management of personnel within the Accounting Department. Manage the process for supplier bills, ensuring proper approvals and coding are obtained. Manage weekly check and electronic payment process.Prepare required monthly/quarterly tax (Sales, Excise) filings. Prepare regulatory reporting – US Census, EDD, 1099. Assist with end of month finances – accrual reviews, accrual preparation, payroll journal entries, accounts receivable and accounts payable aging. Administration of company credit cards. Assist with weekly 401K funding process. Management of sensitive data including documents & invoices. Collaborate with managers with any accounts payable questions and vendor issues, as needed. Maintain vendor records, including obtaining W-9s from new vendors and updating records with tax status and tax ID. Perform administrative duties regarding online bank access. Assist Management with audits. Communicate effectively and professionally with employees across all levels and departments at APP. Maintain a working knowledge of APP policies and procedures. Will instruct, train, and motivate employees on all work to be performed in accordance with APP standards. Organizes and assigns tasks to workers throughout the day ensuring production schedule is followed and operating efficiencies are met. Write performance evaluations. Strong commitment to good attendance and being on time as it is critical to meet the needs of needs. Skill Requirements: In compliance with ITAR regulations, must be a US Citizen or US Person.Highly Skilled in Excel (V-Lookups, PivotTables, Formulas, Formatting). Able to work in a demanding fast paced environment. English (reading, writing, verbal and comprehension). Demonstrated leadership experience. Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field required.
