CPC is seeking candidates for their Director of HR role.

SUMMARY

The Human Resources Director serves as a member of the leadership team and administers all aspects of human resources function for the organization. Collaborate other members of the leadership team to establish measurable strategic and annual goals related to employee relations, recruitment, talent management, compliance, and training.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand and be committed to the vision, mission, and values of Community Progress Council. Assist in the cultivation of a workplace culture that is reflective of organizational values.
  • Participate in the organizations strategic planning process and facilitate internal planning that ensures implementation of goals.
  • Assess, recommend, and implement organizational development and change management initiatives that will promote core values, optimize efficiency, and increase mission impact.
  • Provide leadership and operational oversight to all aspects of human resources including employee relations, recruitment/ onboarding, benefit selection and administration, compensation, talent management, performance management, and wellness efforts.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Operations to oversee organizational safety efforts.
  • Directs workers’ compensation and OSHA programs including reporting of claims, claims management, accident investigations and development of effective return to work programs; interact with Safety Committee in investigations and continuing improvement.
  • Define and implement strategies to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion best practices in all human resource functions. Maintain the annual Affirmative Action Plan.
  • Implement policies and procedures that are consistent with the strategic goals and values of the organization and in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Ensure timely communication and training related to changes in policy or procedure.
  • Identify and report key performance indicators that inform program and agency quality improvement efforts.
  • Develop and manage an annual budget to achieve HR goals.
  • Anticipate, analyze, and resolve litigation risks.
