Inventory/Material Handling and Planning.

• Hours: 6am to 2: 30 pm (Saturday 6am-11am when required)
• Levels of experience (0-3)
• Rate: $18-$22 hr depends on experience
• San Fernando, CA

PTO system which is CA FLEX time. Basically they are allowed 80 Hours per year. 10 days maximum to be used for paid time off: Sick, Holiday, Vacation, ETC. Being that this is temp to full-time they would qualify for Health, Dental, 401k etc. after probationary period.

Responsibilities
 Receive Inventory
 Pick inventory to jobs and process in Oracle.
 Make material transactions in Oracle for items stocked, picked, and moved to assure accurate inventory
levels and locations.
 Cycle Count inventory items.
 Order Inventory Material using a MRP system.
 Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
 Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
 Adhere to all safety rules, regulations, practices, procedures and established company policies.
 Maintain good housekeeping.

EXPERIENCE
 Over 2 years of Material Handling experience or related experience/training or equivalent combination of
education and experience in a manufacturing environment.

QUALIFICATIONS
 Knowledge and experience handling and moving inventory.
 Forklift experience required, and valid driver’s license required.
 Microsoft Office skills required. Oracle experience preferred but not
required.
 Ability to multitask and work with interruptions.
 Attention to detail and good math skills required.
 Ability to work independently while supporting assembly group.
 Must be able to lift to 50 pounds.
 Able to communicate effectively with coworkers.
 Able to follow instructions, possess basic comprehension and reading skills.
 Able to work independently and as part of a group as a team player.
 Has the ability to learn quickly and apply new skills immediately.
 Positive attitude and high degree of self-discipline and self-motivation are required.
 Strong planning, organization and follow-up skills.
Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an

 Requires repeated movements and tasks daily.
 The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, stoop, crouch.
 The employee may be required to lift or move up to 50 lbs.
 Regular full-time. Must be able to work overtime and Saturdays when required.

Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee
encounters while performing essential functions of this job.
 While performing duties on this job, the employee will be working with dirty, grimy, and rusted parts
since most of the customer product received for overhaul mounts under the train.
 The noise level in certain areas of the shop may be usually loud at sometimes.
 Employee will work near moving mechanical and pneumatic parts/equipment.
 The work will be performed indoors. However, employee is exposed to climate conditions (due to
weather) as there is no HVAC within shop area.
 PPE required throughout shop area, at a minimum safety shoes, and eye protection is required within
shop area. Within certain areas hearing protection, hand protection, arm protection, respirator, and face
shield may be required.
