The Network Administrator the employee will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and design improvement of the corporate network infrastructure. The employee will report to and work in collaboration with the Manager, Enterprise Network & Security to develop new solutions to be implemented at our various locations. The employee will also provide second level network support to helpdesk staff, system administrators and end users. The position is based out of our Seattle site and offer remote work possibilities. Travel to our other location is occasionally required. Main Responsiblities: Assist in network design and implementation in accordance with corporate policies Provide second level network support to users Install and configure network equipment and applications Maintain hardware, applications and services Evaluate and recommend improvements Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, identify root cause and take corrective measures Monitor network performance Create technical support documentation for systems and applications Communicate with the IT team (Operations, development, validation) Principal clients are Altasciences employees Suppliers Professional Services and Support Occasional communication with sponsors IT team Desired Profiles: Computer degree or equivalent experience 3 to 5 years experience in network administration English oral and written French oral and written an asset Experience with Cisco Catalyst switches Experience with Cisco Meraki switches an asset Experience with Linux and other Unix like operating systems Experience with Windows Server 2008 and above Experience with firewall, VPN, VoIP, proxies, wireless and other networking technologies Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (bash, PowerShell, etc.) Experience with MDM, virtualization, Cloud services CISSP, CompTIA Network , CCNA or CCNP certification is a must Experience with customer service is a must #LI-SS1
