About the RoleOur Primate group is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Animal Technician to join our team. This is an ideal role for someone who has professional non-human primate handling and/or animal research experience. In this role, you can serve as Lead Technician on studies which includes assisting in protocol review and the organizing of study events. With our Primates, you will also provide enrichment to ensure animal well-being. What You'll Do:Participates in research studies through the collection of data collection according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), the research protocol, and GLP requirements.Perform advanced dose routes, blood collections, and clinical observations.Accurate data collection of study and facility data.Collaborate with Study personnel, Veterinary Staff, and Operations Management in the development of study protocols. Participate in primate socialization, enrichment, and behavioral assessments. What You'll Need to Succeed:High School diploma/GED or higher is required.
