  • Provide contracting support and expertise in every aspect of the contracts/subcontracts life cycle and use critical thinking and analytical skills to drive solutions that help solve the missions that Altamira serves. 
  • Responsible for supporting contracts and subcontract administration functions to ensure compliance with regulations and established company policies and procedures. 
  • Work independently and have working knowledge of Contract/Subcontract types and have the ability to manage in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
  • Solve problems, develop solutions and assist program managers in achieving financial goals and objectives with their subcontractors. This position will work closely with the Contracts Manager to ensure compliance and in support of resolving complex matters. 
  •  Reviews and facilitates execution of non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, subcontract and prime contract agreements. 
  • Preparation of Request for Proposals/Quote packages and Solicitation responses. 
  • Performs comprehensive analyses for price submissions by vendors.
  • Assists with price and Terms & Conditions negotiations. 
  • Issuance of a variety of procurement actions (Purchase Orders, Subcontracts, ATP, Modifications, etc.). 
  • Provides contracts administration. Tracks and administers awards, modifications, and task orders; routes contractual documents and maintains contract and subcontract files; completes Reps & Certs and closeout documentation; 
  • Ensures the appropriate flow down clauses are incorporated into agreements; 
  • Reviews and provides guidance regarding contractual rights and obligations, and conformance with contract/subcontract terms, conditions, and other provisions, including applicable federal regulations; 
  • Assist with Contract Deliverables, Reporting Requirements, Audit prep, Profit/Rate analysis, Salary/Labor Category mapping, Purchase Orders, and Correspondence (both internal and external); 
  • Actively participate in innovation and process improvement throughout the Contracts Department; 
  • Assist in maintenance and update of Contracts Database. 
  • Must work well across all company functions, such as Program Management and Operations, Proposals, Finance/Accounting, Security, Business Development, Capture, IT, Executives. 
  • Support business system(s) in audit preparation and compliance in daily work. 

Qualifications:

  • Must be US Citizen;
  • Ability to obtain Secret or Top Secret Clearance strongly preferred. 
  • Solid knowledge of pertinent procurement regulations and practices, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and DFARS. 
  • Proven organizational skills, professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, both orally and written; detail oriented proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; ability to multitask under tight deadlines;. 
  • 3 years experience in contracts management or related field. 
  • B.S. / B.A. degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Contract Administration, Supply Chain Management or Business Law. 
  • Previous experience in government contracts management and/or pricing strongly preferred. 
  • General knowledge of Deltek software preferred.
