Position Overview

The Credit Manager will perform a variety of credit, accounting and administrative tasks related to the maintenance of dealer accounts, with focus on establishing lines of credit, collections, account reconciliation and general liaison with dealers regarding billing and credit matters. Credit Manager will be responsible for ensuring that customer invoicing and statements are completed.

Responsibilities

• Review credit applications and determine customer credit limits
• Setup of new customer accounts in the ERP
• Maintain Customer fields, credit holds, etc.
• Experience working with large national customers and EDI processes
• Contact past due customers to obtain payment, negotiate payment plans when needed
• Work with collection agency and legal team on past due accounts
• Maintain notes in ERP on all account and collection actions
• Preparation of credit memos, miscellaneous invoices, and daily sales invoicing in ERP
• Customer deduction tracking and reconciliation
• Maintain resale certificates and obtain updated documents via online program
• Assist with cash application as needed
• Participate in credit team meetings, key performance indicator reviews
• Assist with external audit data collection
• Works closely with Controller
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Summary

• College degree in business, accounting, or another related field
• 5 years of relevant credit work experience, or a combination of education and experience
• Solid knowledge and understanding of accounting, credit, collections, and billing systems
• Experience utilizing D&B or other such credit reporting software/report
• Working knowledge of Microsoft products, including Excel and Word
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or other cloud-based ERP systems is a plus
• Experience in Outdoor sports/seasonal industry experience is a plus
• Ability to effectively communicate with broad range of people, positions, and situations
• Ability to efficiently multi-task
• Self-motivated
• Ability to handle and resolve conflict/confrontation
• Ability to handle stress and stressful situations
