ACRC is seeking a Dental Coordinator located in the Sacramento Office. Under the supervision of the Clinical Services Manager the Dental Coordinator utilizes clinical skills, expertise and knowledge to provide consultation, education and training to Case Management staff, clients, families and community partners in order to promote oral health; attend and serve as ACRC representative on oral health planning committees ; collaborates with Dental Coordinators of other regional centers on state wide/ARCA issues related to dental care for RC clients; recruit and maintain a relationship with community dentists and dental hygienists who are willing to provide services to people with special needs; review dental bills to ensure that all dental work potentially eligible for funding through Denti-Cal was billed properly and appropriate documentation was supplied; act as a liaison to oral health vendors; other duties as assigned

ACRC employs approximately 550 persons working out of eight offices in a ten-county area. ACRC is one of 21 Regional Centers in California.

Requirements
Applicants must be a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) currently licensed in the state of California; Registered Dental Hygienist Alternative Practice (RDHAP) preferred; demonstrate excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills; have strong time management and organization skills; and possess a valid California driver license and automobile liability insurance. At least two years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in a clinical or public health setting. Other requirements and qualifications may apply.
$35.96-41.64 /hour
