Alpha Geotechnical and Materials Inc is Hiring an Environmental Specialist Near Tempe, AZ

Description

  • Environmental due diligence including Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments and remediation
  • Perform air and soil sampling.
  • Perform field inspections and environmental investigations.
  • Assist in writing technical reports including the preparation of technical reports, specifications, and plans; data management and evaluation; environmental assessment and remediation.

Requirements

  • Critical thinking and mechanical skills that together demonstrate the ability to solve problems with ingenuity.
  • Written communication and analytical skills that demonstrate the ability to construct a proper sentence, with attention to detail, for technical reports and proposals.
  • Organizational skills that demonstrate the ability to self-monitor, multi-task and be proactive.
  • Interpersonal skills that demonstrate the ability to maintain professional candor and work within a team to meet established deadlines.
  • Computer skills that demonstrate proficiency in MS Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • 2 to 5 years previous experience required.
  • Ability to read and interrupt environmental regulations and policy. 
  • Ability to work outside in extreme weather conditions (heat and cold).
