Recore Electrical Contractors, Inc. is a multi-state licensed, employee-owned, Electrical Services contractor, based just outside of Charlotte, North Carolina. As one of the largest electrical contractors in the Charlotte Metro Area, we at Recore pride ourselves on providing the highest level of service possible.

The career opportunity for you:

- Install and service security systems and cameras and access control

-Ability to work under general supervision and independently at multiple customer sites on a daily basis and interpret and design system layouts to meet the customer needs

- Ability to understand and apply codes, rules, standards, and requirements to meet specifications.

- Perform system inspections for proper operation

- Follow safety practices to safeguard against injury and damage to property

- Follow electrical blueprints and SOW

- Communication skills including verbal and written skills.

- Communicate with customers and be able to train the system once installed

- Ability to logically solve basic to moderately difficult problems with effective solutions, and demonstrate troubleshooting techniques

- Ability to operate hand and power tools

Minimum Job Requirements:

-High school diploma or equivalent.

-Current valid State Driver’s License.

-Completes pre-requisite and ongoing safety requirements and courses, driver care requirements, and technical standards and reports safety concerns in a timely manner.

-Obtain signatures on work orders from customers in an accurate and timely manner.

-Installation experience in commercial security systems

Ideal Experience ( Not Required):

- Security Certifications or Security Licensing

- Access control systems training and certifications such as: Bosch, Paxton, Kantech, or equivalent.

- Training and certifications in products and services from Bosch, Honeywell, DSC, and equivalent.

Physical Demands:

- Ability to climb and descend a ladder up to 20 feet.

- Ability to climb stairs.

- Ability to operate a mechanical lift system and ascend to 40 feet.

- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
