Job Overview:

We are looking for an innovative and goal driven Senior QA Engineer with at least 5 years of prior QA Automation experience to join our Enterprise Information Management (EIM) team. This position is located in our Peachtree Corners, GA office, but may operate remotely anywhere within the United States.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute automated test scripts/plans for all areas of a product in a timely and efficient manner.

• Code review automated test scripts created by junior members.
• Review automation test results daily and communicate their results.
• Think critically about how consumers will interact with software and transfer thoughts to defects, action items, and open avenues of discussion.
• Think creatively and proactively to make use of current technologies to provide extensible automation infrastructures.
• Work with Dev team members to understand testing objectives and ensure that problems are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.

• Review product requirements, functional and design specification to determine and prepare automated scripts.
• Accurately estimate project tasks.
• Work with team members to ensure automation progresses.
• Provide timely feedback when verifying issues turned over from development.
• Participate in developer code reviews as necessary.

• Collaborate with other QA team members to overcome obstacles and roadblocks.
• Maintain virtual customer test environments of latest releases to ensure that issues may be promptly researched.
• Take proper templates of environments to ensure that roll-back integrity is maintained.
• Present automation updates in Review meetings

Required:

• 5 years QA Automation experience
• 6 years of testing experience

• Extensive knowledge of Selenium
• Deep understanding of HTTP and RESTful APIs
• Excellent knowledge of web, mobile, and desktop test automation
• Knowledge of software performance testing techniques
• Excellent software and hardware troubleshooting skills

• Extensive knowledge of various Microsoft products including Operating Systems, Microsoft Office, Citrix/Virtual Desktop, Microsoft SQL Server, IIS Management
• Experience with maintaining and creating virtual servers/workstations as well as managing backups
• Understanding of the development process and with the ability to read source code (VB and C#) to assist in creating automated test scripts/cases
• A full understanding of database design and ability to query, update, and analyze databases
• Experience with testing and troubleshooting hardware peripherals

• Understanding of implementation, performance and other functional aspects which could affect delivery and full customer acceptance of code
• Experience estimating number of required test cases and required effort
• Experience reviewing test cases for adherence to standards and for completeness
• Genuine enjoyment of software QA work
• Organized and detail oriented

• Self-motivated with excellent attitude and the ability to self-manage
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Desire to be part of a highly productive, fast-paced team
• Four-year college degree or equivalent

Preferred:

• A solid understanding of Service-oriented architecture (SOA)
• A solid understanding of computer networking with minor troubleshooting
• Knowledge of document imaging, workflow, and COLD systems

• Knowledge of credit union industry
