Allstem connection seeks a Sanitation Team Lead to work in Missouri City, TX . Our client is a global company in the food industry.

For this position, We are looking for someone with experience in a food-processing, pharmaceutical, or chemical manufacturing organization, preferably using computerized manufacturing equipment.

Shift Hours for this Positions: 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 am

Pay Rate:$31.00 an hour

Qualifications:

• 4 years supervisory experience in a food-processing, pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing organization, preferably using computerized manufacturing equipment
• Working knowledge of USDA regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), sanitation processes/procedures and HACCP
• Demonstrated ability to direct, coach, and train associates as well as plan, monitor and schedule work
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
• Proficient using Excel or other spreadsheet software.
• Demonstrated knowledge of preoperational inspections.
• Development/enhancement of SSOPs.
• Knowledgeable of Kleanz system.
• Chemical inventory control (order, use, etc.), and budgeting.
• Development and compliance to Master Sanitation Scheduling.
• Knowledge in HARPC, Sanitation, Chemical Safety
• For USDA facilities, demonstrated knowledge of USDA interactions, including NR resolutions.
• Proficient in environmental monitoring and bioluminescent swabbing.
• Experience in hygienic design evaluation and remediation.
• Experience in allergen validation and verification.
• Experience in Ready To Eat, Low Moisture Foods, Acidified Foods (as required).
• Experience with CIP and/or COP systems (as required)
• Demonstrated understanding of production scheduling and other production variables such as run-rates, processing times, change-over times, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to direct, coach, and train associates as well as plan, monitor and schedule work
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems

Demonstrated mechanical and spatial aptitude, including the ability to disassemble and reassemble equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Mentors and motivates associates, providing training and development to optimize their performance and personal growth.
• Ensures Company standard practices and procedures are followed.
• Ensures that all GMP and safety standards are in compliance.
• Assures a safe and productive environment for all sanitation associates.
• Tracks and complies with Corporate metrics.
• Requires that sanitation associates conduct their own preoperative inspections of their work. Conducts preoperational assessments while mentoring others. Works closely with QA in identifying preoperational opportunities and works to close gaps.
• Develops, manages and directs plant SSOPs (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures) and programs, ensuring all plant equipment is clean and safe for production. Ensures program is in compliance with all applicable regulatory, internal, corporate, and GFSI requirements.
