Our Ideal Candidate

  As the successful candidate, you will design complex mechanical/piping systems for industrial facilities. You will be responsible for producing mechanical/piping layout drawings, including piping isometric drawings, tank data sheets, process and instrumentation/control diagrams, specifications and details; and bills of material while adhering to company procedures, engineering criteria, design standards and applicable codes. You will work within both 2D and 3D model environments and interface regularly with other disciplines, vendors and customers. Field visits to site will be required, as well as a solid commitment to fostering and maintaining strong relationships with our clients.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

• Technical school graduate
• 5 to 7 years' experience with conceptual design, front-end and detailed design of process plants. Pulp and Paper experience preferred
• Experience using AutoCAD Experience generating 2D plan and layout drawings and piping isometrics
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and proven ability to collaborate with team members in a multi-disciplined environment
• Technical competence and strong attention to detail
• 3D modelling experience
• Experience using Plant 3D an asset
