Job Description

Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Guards in Canada.

Job Title: Site Supervisor 

Job Location: London, ON

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Pay Rate: $17.51

Shifts available: Mon-Fri 0400-1200

Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions

• Access Control for the facility/area
• Maintain and audit site for compliance
• Check in trucks and ensure compliance in the warehouse shipping yard
• As a supervisor, complete reports and audits to report back to the client and national account manager. 
• Ensure other guards are in compliance with site post orders and SSIA regulations. 
• Perform administrative duties as required by the client and Allied Universal. 
• Patrolling inside and outside as required in the post orders
• Ensure that the Facility’s Safety and Emergency Procedures are followed in response to Fire Alarms and other Site Emergencies
• Undertake site-specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Area Manager
• Demonstrate judgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
• Meticulous Record Keeping, Report Writing, Observation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The Ideal Candidate

• • • • Valid Ontario Provincial Security Guard license
      • Minimum High school education/equivalence
      • Ontario G Driver’s License will be an asset
      • Mandatory - must have Security Experience, Supervisor or Management experience is an asset 
      • Be a safety leader for Allied Universal and the site
      • Coordinate all Site contractor traffic and appointments
      • Maintain a high level of communication with Allied Branch Office and Client
      • Ensure all guards have proper uniform, equipment and training.
      • Assist with coaching and review of guard performance.
      • Excellent communication skills – oral and written
      • Strong time management and organizational skills
      • Excellent report-writing skills
      • Superior customer service orientation
      • Ability to assess and evaluate situations
      • Ability to build relationships with fellow employees and client staff, with a focus on tact and diplomacy including conflict management
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
